Hose + Coupling World Americas Conference & Expo 2020: Hybrid Event a Resounding Success!
The Hose + Coupling World Americas Conference and Expo 2020, was held on October at the Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria in Houston, Texas. The successful two-day hybrid event was hosted both in-person, and virtually, and was equipped with flexible streaming, attendee engagement, and networking opportunities.
The conference, which ran concurrently with the exhibition, began each day with keynote lectures given by the event Chairman, Kerry Millen – Air Products; Consultant, Gobind Khiani; and Senior Mechanical Engineer, Davi Correia. Conference sessions were filled, both in person and virtually, with interested delegates who engaged with thought provoking questions that led to many in-depth discussions. Session topics included: Hose Safety, Materials, Testing & Inspections, Hydraulic Hoses, Threading Types, Best Practices; each session was broadcasted live via LinkedIn, Hopin, Facebook, Weechat and Vimeo. It was thrilling to see industry professionals sharing ideas and collaborating on important industry topics.
